The Inspiration
For monto’ac, we looked to the landscape of the mid-Atlantic, where ancient mountain ranges descend to meet the rolling coastal hills. We wanted to honor the spirit of this land by centering the composition around ingredients deeply rooted in Native American culture—ceremonial sage, tobacco, and the tactile richness of leather.
Our Vision
We crafted this fragrance to be a true “skin scent”: intimate, quiet, and deeply personal. It opens with a spritely, green energy that feels like fresh herbal air, but its true beauty lies in the evolution. As it wears, it dries down to an elegant, soothing warmth that persists close to the body. We envisioned it as something familiar and comforting—like the soft, lived-in feel of a well-worn suede shirt.
Origin of name: From the Croatoan dialect of South Carolina meaning, “great spirit”.
“…a calming energy and crispness that stands in contrast to all
the light, citrus-based “fresh” fragrances.“
